Admissions and Eligibility
Yes, applicants from international schools or overseas high schools are eligible, provided they submit academic equivalency documents issued by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.
In addition to general requirements, applicants must have a minimum grade of 90 (Knowledge component) in both Biology and Mathematics from their semester V report card.
Yes, applicants must be a maximum of 20 years old at the commencement of the academic program

Scholarship and Cadet Life
Yes. All Cadet Students are required to reside in the provided university dormitory for the entire duration of their education to foster discipline, camaraderie, and a conducive environment for military-academic development.
Yes. In addition to full coverage of living and educational costs, every Cadet Student receives a monthly stipend (pocket money) to support their personal incidental needs.
No. All accepted Cadet Students receive a full-ride scholarship from the state, covering tuition, academic expenses, uniforms, meals, accommodation, and educational facilities throughout the entire duration of the program.
Academic Program and Career
Graduates are prepared for careers as 'TNI' officers or Ministry of Defense civil servants ('ASN'), military educators/instructors, researchers in national and international institutions, and practitioners in biotechnology or environmental management.
The department operates under six research clusters: Cell and Molecular Biology, Physiology and Development, Genetics and Bioinformatics, Microbiology and Biomedicine, Bioconservation and Environment, and Military Biotechnology.
Our program uniquely integrates standard biological sciences with specialized defense-oriented modules. We focus on "Defense Biology," combining biotechnology and sustainable biodiversity with state defense values, preparing graduates for roles in both civilian and military sectors.
