The Republic of Indonesia Defense University (Universitas Pertahanan RI) is committed to fostering the nation's best intellectual talents by providing comprehensive, full-ride scholarships to all accepted Cadet Students (Kadet Mahasiswa). This commitment ensures that academic excellence remains the primary focus of every student, free from financial burdens.

Comprehensive Scholarship Coverage

The scholarship provided by the university covers the entire duration of the undergraduate study program, including:

• Full Tuition Coverage: All academic and instructional costs, including laboratory fees, research facilities, and access to campus resources, are fully covered by the state.
• Educational Support & Facilities: Students are provided with all necessary educational supplies, including study materials, laptop, learning tools, and access to the university’s modern infrastructure.
• Living Essentials: The scholarship covers comprehensive living expenses, including:
  • Uniforms: All required military and academic uniforms, as well as necessary gear, are provided by the university.
  • Dining/Meals: Balanced, nutritious daily meals are provided for all students.
  • Accommodation & Housing: All students are required to live in the university's dormitory throughout their education, with all housing and facility costs covered.
• Monthly Stipend: In addition to the aforementioned provisions, every Cadet Student receives a monthly stipend (pocket money) to support personal incidental needs throughout their time at the university.

Commitment and Obligation

This scholarship is a significant investment by the state in the future of national defense. Consequently, recipients are expected to demonstrate high levels of academic integrity, discipline, and dedication to the values of State Defense (Bela Negara). As stipulated in the admission requirements, students are strictly prohibited from receiving other scholarships, ensuring that the focus remains entirely on their development as state defense intellectuals within the Republic of Indonesia Defense University.
